That is simply admirable man, i am in shock that almost no people are interested in such an ambitious project, haven't played it yet, but man, the work you've put into this project is worth admiration, i would've donated if wasn't such a broke ass, i know words from random anonymouses on itch don't mean much, but man, just know that you are doing something unique and very interesting, something worth making, keep up the great work and don't give up.
P.S English is not my first language, sorry for fuck-ups
Been a while, so I felt like sharing an experience I've had a lot with the designer. Most of the designs I end up making are incredibly heavy due to the barrel being rather heavy, specifically to counter being deformed from the pressure. Despite that I still get bad muzzle velocity at times. This happened to others?
EDIT: As of the update, with things like the barrel visualizer, I've figured out the issue.
Follow the installation guide above and play with the designer features. If you are referring to the strategical layer, that is currently in rough work and what is expected is in the current public build section, also above.

Current Public Build
Basic designers up to the company level with tools to get your designs ready for the combat demo.
^ this is the section I mentioned. There is currently no combat demo as it is still being worked on!
I've just stumbled on this, this is the type of game I've wanted for years! I watched your latest tutorial video on Youtube, I was getting different penetration results than yours, went back and double checked all the values, It may be due to the uploaded release not having armor quality.
Looking forward to seeing more editors, as well as a combat scene. I've already made multiple real-world receiver and calibers, using as much information publicly available, would love to see a place to share these! Any plans for an engine designer for Wheeled/Armor units? I could ask a million questions all day. Looking forward to the next update!
so what exactly does the Light Receiver refer to? Since I'm not sure that you would need any specialised equipment beyond possibly writing implements for intepreting a heliograph/signaling light.
EDIT: After some time I realized it probably refers to a radio reciever? Would still like confirmation though.
This is usually a telescope on a tripod that identifies the position of the station directly and lets the heliograph light point in the exact direction it needs to. The naked eye also has much less of a range limit per square cm of heliograph or signal light compared to a dedicated telescope receiver.
Brief question. Do handguns require you to actually press the dust cover option? Considering most semi automatic handguns have parts that fullfill said function build in, of course not being called dust covers.
Mmh, just felt the need to confirm. Though on another note, shells don't really seem to display their payload? Alongside shotgun shells not showing properly in the visual.
The game is always moving from playable state to playable state. Combat is currently in testing and is very rough, and I am very busy. I would say the combat portion would be out in a year or two?
Will potential wildlife and envirommental hazards be a factor you plan to implement? IE, toxic foliage or atmospheric ash-clouds. also somewhat relevant, chemical and biological warfare?
Those are definitely interesting and I would like to get to them in the future but not priority. For chemical and biological warfare it will either be abstracted or changed to a fictional system as I don't plan on making irl designers for those.
Sounds reasonable, could perhaps just allow you to choose between some pre-made existing diseases/chemical agents, or more abstract designed ones. IE deployment method, affected systems, density and stuff. Overall I just like my hostile landscapes and potentially backfiring weapons.
I feel like you should add some text that quickly explains what something means when you hover over it so i dont have to keep going back and forth from and to google, would be really helpful. Great game tho
Now i'm just assuming you mean the strategy game itself. Right now the playable strategy game isn't out yet, the gun and division designer are the only available features.

do you have any idea of when the combat demo will be public

Glad that the update was able to help!
How Do I Acctualy Play The Game

How Do I Use It
The combat demo is still in progress!

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, a lot is planned coming up. There will be an engine designer and vehicle designer for wheeled/Armor units.
You can join the discord for the active community!
Brief suggestions for the future update
1. Incendiary fillings, alongside visual representation for fillings in shells!
2. Optics , binoculars and rangefinders for loadout options.
3. Proper shotgun rounds, as right now they functionally have no difference from normal cartridges beyond a label.
Thanks for your suggestions!

Ah, makes sense. Was sort-of expecting telescopes, binoculars and the like to fall into equipment/utility gear. Such as rangefinding equipment?
How Do I Play
Brief question. Do handguns require you to actually press the dust cover option? Considering most semi automatic handguns have parts that fullfill said function build in, of course not being called dust covers.
I don't think so, if you look at common handgun operation, the bolt is closed-bolt. The only time it stays open is when it locks back.
Mmh, just felt the need to confirm. Though on another note, shells don't really seem to display their payload? Alongside shotgun shells not showing properly in the visual.
When do you plan to make the game playable? Currently from what I saw only the design of units is available.
The game is always moving from playable state to playable state. Combat is currently in testing and is very rough, and I am very busy. I would say the combat portion would be out in a year or two?
K, thanks for the response!

please add like a jeep and a normal car

interesting.
my only problem is how do i start.
what do you mean?
Now i'm just assuming you mean the strategy game itself. Right now the playable strategy game isn't out yet, the gun and division designer are the only available features.
